1. Solo Christian Boltanski: Storage Memory

Christian Boltanski(1944–)is a French artist , known for his photographs and installations. He had participated in numerous exhibitions like La Biennale di Venezia. This exhibition currently was held by Power Station of Art is the biggest scale ever displayed in China so far. It combines installations, videos, sounds and shadow theaters. Visitors can explore the emotion and memory of their life experience through the exhibition.His works are in collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York , the Tate Gallery in London, etc.

2.By the passing of a Thousand Sails: The Paintings of Wang Pan-yuan

Wang Pan-yuan(1909-2017)had dedicated his life to art. He was the winner of the 5th National Awards of Art. He achieved many great works in oil painting on canvas, watercolor painting, and ink painting. His works often included Yilan’s country scene. Through those breathtaking paintings he made, we can see the loneliness inside his heart. This exhibition displays not only the classic works, but also many rare and private masterpieces to memorize Wang’s dedication to the art history of Taiwan.

《Quiet Riot》explores the bonds between society, politics, economic, and art though different backgrounds and perspectives.《Quiet Riot》’s curator Chen Wei-Ching is the former Director of Taiwan Art Gallery Association, currently the founder of inCube Arts. She has extensive experience as a curator.

《Refresh, Sacrifice, New Hygiene, Infection, Clean, Robot, Air, Housekeeping, jackercleaning.com, Cigarette, Dyson, Modern People III》is the third phase of Chou Yu-Cheng’s project. The title of the exhibition is based on hashtag’s form, trying to present plastic arts’ beauty through the aspect of hygiene.Chou Yu-Cheng was the winner of Taipei Art Awards, and Taishin Arts Award. He has exhibited internationally, including Art Basel in Hong Kong (Encounters sector).

4. Charlie Chaplin A Vision

Charlie Chaplin(1889–1977)was an English comic actor. Wearing a Bowler hat, holding a crutch, and mustache are his classic image. The Yuz Museum will hold the very first retrospective exhibition in June. Cooperating with Musée de l'Elysée, the exhibition will display numerous original films of Charlie Chaplin.

5. Foujita: A Retrospective ― Commemorating the 50th Anniversary of his Death

Tsuguharu Foujita(1886–1968)was a Japanese artist known as School of Paris . He was good at depicting the elegance part of women. He invented the unique painting style of milky skin tones, which made his works one of a kind. To memorize the 50th anniversary of his death, the exhibition will display his famous“Landscape Paintings”, “Portraits”, “Nudes” theme of works, also included some private works.

6. Munch: A Retrospective

Edvard Munch(1863-1944)is known for 《The Scream》. His works are mostly in collection of Munch Museum in his hometown. The upcoming exhibition in Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum will displays 100 works, including oil painting and prints. Meanwhile, this will be the Tempera on cardboard version of 《The Scream》’s debut in Japan. We are able to understand the depression side of Edvard Munch through this exhibition.
